Taking the Conversation to Washington: Kids’ and Families’ Mental Health Stories with the Congressional Children’s Health Care Caucus

Sound the Alarm for Kids, in coordination with the Children’s Health Care Caucus, U.S. House of Representatives, hosted a patient-focused roundtable discussion on kids’ mental health and how to ensure children and their families have access to appropriate prevention, treatment and supportive services. The roundtable is part of a series spotlighting the national emergency in child and adolescent mental health. The discussion was led by Laura Willing, M.D., and included teens and families who shared stories about their mental health journeys.

The virtual roundtable titled “Taking the Conversation to Washington: Kids’ and Families’ Mental Health Stories,” featured frontline experts and those impacted by the mental health crisis directly.
